BY NAMULONGO PETER,NAIROBI,27TH JULY 2017-The latest poll released by research firm infotrak indicates that if elections were to be held today governors Josephat Nanok,Ken Lusaka,Martin Wambora and Migori’s Okoth Obado will retain their seats.
The poll results which comes just 13 days to August 8 elections indicates that Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok in most popular candidate at 77.7% of popularity with John Munyes of Jubilee coming in second at 14.3%. 8% of voters in the county are still undecided.
In Migori county the incumbent Okoth Obado will retain his seat with the poll indicating that he commands 71.9% of popularity with his closest challenger Ochilo Ayacko having 20.7%.
Embu Governor Martin Wambora is ahead with 48.4%, Lenny Kivuti second with 26.2% votes . 16.9% of voters in the county are still undecided.
In Bungoma gubernatorial race the current governor Ken Lusaka of Jubilee leads in Bungoma race at 52.2 percent.
The senatorial race favors the current senator Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya party who has 58.6 percent popularity.
