BY EURIDICE NZIOKA,CORREPONDENT,18TH JULY 2017-President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto on Tuesday 18th July took their re-elections campaigns to Kwale county have urged residents to vote for them on August 8th owing to their impressive track record.
Addressing a campaign rally in Ukunda the president and his deputy said opposite to their opponents in the opposition outfit NASA who have a tendency of propagating empty rhetoric ,their government had delivered on the promise they gave in 2013.”We have created 2.3 million jobs already since 2013. Now let’s finish the job and create 6.5 million more”.said Kenyatta.
”My Action Plan for more jobs for all Kenyans will ensure that the foundations we have built for prosperity,create more jobs for young people” added the head of state.
They further say the main agenda of the Jubilee party was to have a united Kenya and ensure that the country was one.
President Kenyatta also urged Kwale residents not to allow to be divided on tribal basis as the nation draws closer to the august elections.The head of state and his deputy stressed that this nation was not ready and should never again witness what happen after the general elections of the 2007/2008 in order to benefit few individuals.
