Mwala girls high school count losses after dormitory fire

BY UPESINEWS CORRESPONDENT,MWALA,16TH JULY 2017-Parents ,students and the entire management of Mwala Girls high school in Machakos are counting losses amounting thousands of shillings after a dormitory at the school got burnt  last evening.The cause of the fire has not been identified even though it is suspected to have been caused by an electric fault.

No students were injured in the incident that occurred while students are in class for the evening preps

Speaking to UPESINEWS.CO.KE Area Chief Dennis Mwanzia who confirmed the incident says students lost their belongings,such as clothes,blankets, cash and other valuables. The school management is now calling upon the well wishers to intervene and assist in reconstruction of the dormitory which hosts about 150 students.

Mwala Girls’ Secondary School is a Religious Organisation  found in Mwala, Kibau Sub location, Mwala Location, Mwala Division, Mwala Constituency in Machakos County.
