BY JOHN WERU,CORRESPONDENT,12TH JULY 2017-President Uhuru Kenyatta has assured Nyanza residents that the Jubilee government has their interest at heart contrary to claims been peddled by the opposition.Addressing residents of Rusinga island in Homa Bay county during a campaign rally Wednesday 12th July,the president said the Jubilee government will continue and is determined to deliver on its pledges it made to them.
The president officially precised over the launching of construction of various projects among them the Commissioning of a bridge connecting Mbita town to Rusinga Island constructed at a cost of Sh1 billion.
The bridge will The bridge will ease transport in the area, improve the availability of fish and reduce water hyacinth since it will not block flow of water.The president ws also scheduled to commission the construction of kshs 15 billion brewery in Kisumu in a move aimed at creating jobs opportunities for the youth.The brewery which is a subsidiary of East African Brewery based in Ruaraka Nairobi will help barley and wheat farmers from the region market their produce.

The president said the Jubilee government top priority was to see peace ,stability prevail without it which the country cannot realize any meaningful development in our great country Kenya.
On his side the deputy president William Ruto asked Nyanza residents not to listen to propaganda from the opposition but rather learn from what Jubilee government has done in the region.
Ruto asked Nyanza to vote for Jubilee in the August 8 elections.He said Jubilee is committed to creating equally opportunities for all despite the region they come from.
