NASA wishes quick recovery to journalists who got injured in Langata plane crash

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,12TH JULY 2017-The National Super Alliance NASA has send  a massage of quick recovery to three journalists from the Royal  Media services  who got injured when  the plane they were in was involved in accident in Langata Nairobi on Wednesday 12th July.

NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga who led the other NASA Co-principals in campaigning in Baringo county where the journalists were on route to go and provide coverage  says journalists in this country have done a commendable job especially this time of  campaigns towards the coming  elections in articulating issues from aspirants vying for various seats.In a statement send to press  Odinga has wished the journalists swift recovery so as they can go back to their duties.

The Cessna  206 light air craft crashed moments after  take off from the Wilson airport in Nairobi  .On board were six people among them three journalists from the royal Media services namely,Joseph Njane from Citizen radio,Sam Ogina and Maurius Oduor both from Citizen TV and two pilots.Addressing the media police airwing commandant Rodgers Mbithi confirmed the incident saying the light aircraft was headed for Kabarnet Baringo county when it crashed.

Both journalists are currently receiving treatment at the Nairobi hospital with all of them in stable condition.One of the pilots however was  more injured and he is receiving specialized treatment at the same hospital .

The journalists were on their way to Baringo to cover a campaign rally by the National Super Alliance NASA.
