NASA campaigns in Kilifi,promises to deal with historical injustices at the coast if elected

BY CORRESPONDENT,KILIFI,9TH JULY 2017-The National Super Alliance NASA on Sunday continued with their campaigns  at the coast pitching tent in  Kilifi county in effort aimed at   consolidating the votes in the county. The Coalition’s  tour of the county comes just two week s after the Jubilee brigade  of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto campaigned in the country.

Addressing residents of  Mtwapa   during a rally  Odinga   has assured the residents that if NASA formed the next government  all historical injustices pertaining to land will be addressed fully and conclusively.

Odinga who was accompanied by other NASA co principals of Musalia Mudavadi,Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula said it was unfortunate that over 50 years since independence   of the country Kenyans and especially along the coast still live as squatters without land.

Odinga says NASA government will fully implement recommendations of Truth Justice and reconciliation commission TJRC adding that solution to problems of land in this country is in implementing the report.

Odinga has also blamed the Jubilee government for the high cost of living which he says   is  weighing   heavily on Kenyans who can no longer afford. He says the government has failed to   solve the problem of sky rocketing of cost of basic commodities  in the country  despite the fact that  it was the government in power.His sentiments were echoed by his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
