BY CORRESPONDENT,KILIFI,9TH JULY 2017-The National Super Alliance NASA on Sunday continued with their campaigns at the coast pitching tent in Kilifi county in effort aimed at consolidating the votes in the county. Addressing residents of Mtwapa during a rally Odinga has assured the residents that if NASA formed the next government all historical injustices pertaining to land will be addressed fully and conclusively.
Odinga who was accompanied by other NASA co principals of Musalia Mudavadi,Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula said it was unfortunate that over 50 years since independence of the country Kenyans and especially along the coast still live as squatters without land.
Odinga says NASA government will fully implement recommendations of Truth Justice and reconciliation commission TJRC adding that solution to problems of land in this country is in implementing the report.
Odinga has also blamed the Jubilee government for the high cost of living which he says is weighing heavily on Kenyans who can no longer afford. He says the government has failed to solve the problem of sky rocketing of cost of basic commodities in the country despite the fact that it was the government in power. His sentiments were echoed by his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
