BY EURIDICE NZIOKA,9TH JULY 2017-Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga says his condition was never worrisome .Speaking minutes after being discharged from Mombasa Hospital having been treated for stomach pains Sunday Evening Odinga said it was a minor discomfort.
“I am as fit as a fiddle. I have been discharged to go to Nairobi to continue with my campaigns.
“I had stomach pains, which have since disappeared after getting treatment,” Mr Odinga said during a press briefing after being discharged.
Mr Odinga had arrived at Moi International Airport, Mombasa, in two helicopters accompanied by co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang’ula, when he suddenly fell ill.Odinga looked well and even greeted and waved at passengers after his arrival.
However, after a few minutes, airport staff were seen rushing into the lobby and they dashed out carrying water.

Odinga spokesperson Dennis Onyango has confirmed Mr Onyango, on his Facebook page, said that “we suspect food poisoning”.

Nasa leaders led by Mr Odinga’s running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, have said that he is “in good health”.
Mr Salim Lone, Mr Odinga’s special advisor, also said the Nasa flag-bearer is responding well to treatment.
Odinga spend the better part of Sunday traversing Kilifi county together with other NASA principals where they had a series of public rallies.
