BY SAMSON MBII,NAIROBI,27TH JUNE,2017-Kenya cup and Enterprise cup champions KCB RFC are expected to leave the country on Thursday 29TH June for a training session in South Africa ahead of the new season where the KCB Lions will be defending the two trophies.
The training is expected to expose the players to world-class rugby training facilities, in a bid to add value to the squad with the new season fast approaching.
The Bankers will participate in a number of build-up matches in South Africa, and there after attend a super rugby game at Newlands in Cape Town when giants Stormers clash with Sunwolfs.
Team Manager Rooney Kangeta has lauded the Bank for sponsoring the team to the Western Province Rugby Union, noting the trip will be a major boost to the team’s preparation for the 2017/2018 rugby season.
The team is expected to jet back in the country on 9th next month.
