It is all systems go as Jubilee launches manifesto

BY JOHN WERU,NAIROBI,26TH JUNE,2017-Preparations  ahead of the official a launch of the Jubilee party manifesto at the Kasarani National Stadium are complete  with the launch expected on Monday 26TH June.UPESINEWS.CO.KE has established some of the highlights in the document to be unveiled by president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto will concentrate more on Job creation for the youth,completion of  some of the  projects started in the last 4 years as  well as  new ones which they will undertake should they form the next government.

The launch which comes  less than 45 days to August 8 Elections will also see the Jubilee leadership  narrate to Kenyans what they have been able to achieve or deliver as far as the 2013 manifesto is concerned and what remains to be done.

Key highlights of gains under Jubilee leadership

For the last four years the Jubilee administration has been able to deliver  notable  developments with its track record leaning on among others free maternity services in all public hospitals,construction of phase one of standard gauge railway  from Mombasa to Nairobi,power supply with the implementation of the last mile connectivity, improvement of key roads and laptop project for class one pupils.

There however still remains quiet a number of promises that have not been implemented  with the rate of employment still a challenge,corruption and high cost of living.

It is expected that On Monday the Jubilee leadership will inform the nation  how they will deliver the unfulfilled promises going forward. Their Opposition counterparts the National Super Alliance is set to launch their manifesto on Thursday  29th June 2017.
