BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,6TH JUNE,2017-Telkom Kenya on Tuesday 6Th June changed its brand name in an effort aimed at expanding its strategy to be more competitive.
Telkom chief executive Aldo Mareuse said the company is now ready to become a player to be reckoned with in the sector.
“It’s fair to say Telkom Kenya has not received its full potential,” he said.
The change is in line with an agreement made when private equity firm Helios bought a majority stake in the company last year.
He added that the company would leverage on expanded investments in network infrastructure.
The firm has dropped the Orange brand and adopted Telkom as its new trading name.
the changes also come with a new corporate color with blue and yellow taking the place of Orange colour.
