Miguna Miguna after been cleared-UPESINEWS
BY NAMULONGO PETER,NAIROBI, 2ND JUNE 2017-The independent Electoral and boundaries Commission on Friday 2nd June 2017 cleared several candidates who will be vying for different political seats in the August 8th polls. Some those who have been cleared had been turned a way on Thursday due to failure to meet the requirements for clearance.
Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna who had been asked to return to the commission after soughting out his papers Thursday ,has finally been cleared to vie for Nairobi governor seat as an independent candidate.Miguna had been dismissed after the list of his supporters he had submitted was found not to be in the correct format.Mike Mbuvi Sonko has also been cleared to vie on a Jubilee party ticket.Another candidate who was cleared is Peter Kenneth he will be vying for Nairobi governor seat as an independent candidate.
Kirinyaga county governor aspirant on a Jubilee party ticket Ann Waiguru has also been cleared.Waiguru has expressed confidence that she will trounce her main challenger Nark Kenya party leader Martha Karua who will also be vying for the seat.

In Kisumu county the Kisumu senator Peter Anya Nyong has been cleared to vie for Kisumu Governor seat.Nyong will be battling it out with Fred Out on an ODM party ticket.Cyprian Awiti has been cleared to run for Homa Bay county governor seat on an ODM ticket.
Yusuf Chanzu has been cleared to run for Vihiga county governorship he will be battling with the current governor Moses Akaranga.
Others are Simon Lesirma who has been cleared to vie for Samburu governor seat he will be squaring it out with the incumbent Moses Lenol kulal.Kitui governor Julius Malombe has also been cleared to defend his seat .He will be vying on a Wiper Party ticket.In kisii Gubernatorial race Governor James Ongwae has been cleared to defend his seat.

Wyclif Wangamati and Ken Lusaka have been cleared to contest the gubernatorial seat.Wangamati has expressed confidence that he will carry the day come 8th of August.On his side Lusaka has urged for peaceful campaigns in the county ahead of elections saying the voice of the people must be respected.
