Al Shabaab strike again abducts two teachers in Garrissa

BY KORIR JUMA,CORRESPONDENT,1ST JUNE,2017-Two teachers are reported to have been abducted   after their school was Burned down by Suspected Al-Shabaab militants  in Fafi, Garissa county last evening.

The militants, armed with small arms and explosions, also vandalised a mobile communication mast in the area.

The attackers  also destroyed telecom masts during their attacks to disrupt police communication.

Northern and coastal Kenya have experienced a sharp rise in attacks linked to the Somalia-based terror group, in which security officers have been killed and security equipment destroyed.

The attacks comes  hours after nine security officers and a civilian died on Wednesday  31st may 2017 when their vehicles ran over explosive devices in separate terror incidents in Lamu County.
