President Kenyatta urges for peace a head of August polls as he outlines Jubilee score card

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,29TH MAY 2017-President Uhuru Kenyatta has told off the opposition  accusing them of merely talking without providing concrete solutions to the problems afflicting Kenyans.Addressing the Jubilee supporters after presenting his nomination papers to the Independent Electoral Commission at The KICC Monday afternoon,president Kenyatta said the politics of Jubilee administration has been about development for the last four years.

The head of state outlined various   projects that were started     under the Jubilee leadership among them free maternity services, establishing fund for the elderly,waiving of exam fees for both KCPE and KCSE ,tarmacking of roads among others saying that if voted in they plan to do more to improve the living standards of all Kenyans.

Unlike the 10million slogan that has been on the mouth of opposition leaders ,president Kenyatta says Jubilee  has a plan for all the 42 million Kenyans who are on their minds.

He called on Kenyans to keep peace ahead of the polls.He emphasized that Kenyans need the country after the elections and even before and there need for all to keep peace.

Deputy president William Ruto has asked Kenyans to vote for the Jubilee candidates in the coming elections as they had seen already what they have been able to achieve in the last four years.

 

The leader of Majority in the National Assembly Aden Duale took the opportunity to make it clear that Jubilee will have ten people to guard their votes against any attempt of rigging by the oppostion on the day of voting.”tutaweka watu kumi kulinda kura zetu kwa kila kituo” he said.

The rally at COMESA grounds just out side the KICC was also attended by other Jubilee leaders  among them governors, senators,MPs  aspiring politicians for various seats on the Jubilee tickets.Both pledged to support president Kenyatta and his deputy’s re-election by calling upon their supporters to vote for them.
