This is a big blow to the incumbent Maina Kamanda who will have no choice but to stay within the party and wait to see whether a miracle will happen. It is also a challenge should he decide to go it alone considering the independent Electoral and boundaries commission IEBC has given all candidates intending to vie for various seats in the coming general elections until Thursday  to submit their application. This means that Kamanda will find it hard to try meet this tight deadline.

Jaguar will now square it out with ODM’S Steve Mbogo in the starehe parliamentary seat in the August 8th elections.
