BY NAMULONGO PETER,NAIROBI,1ST MAY 2017-Gubernatorial aspirant in Uasini Gishu county Zedekiah Bundotich now says he will vie for the seat as an independent candidate come August 8 2017.Bundotich who is also known as Buzeki says he was not pleased with the decision by the Jubilee party disputes resolutions tribunal to throw away his appeal.
Bundotich had presented his appeal before the party’s tribunal contesting the results of the primaries held recently which the incumbent governor Jackson Mandago was declared the winner.Speaking to the press in Eldoret Monday Buzeki has also blamed Mandago for attacking him and his supporters who were opposing the results where one of his supporters was seriously injured and his car windows vandalized.
He says Mwandago he resulted to hooliganism and violence instead of uniting all the political divide in the county and work with them for the sake of the county .He has also promised to campaign for president Kenyatta and his deputy in the coming general elections.
.elsewhere Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbuguah has announced that he will be vying for the seat as an independent candidate.He says that he has not been treated fairly by the Jubilee party dispute resolution tribunal after he presented his appeal to the tribunal on Friday last week. He has complained about the delay in ruling on the appeal by the tribunal a move he says has made his effort to get justice difficult.

Mbuguah who spoke to the press at the Jubilee party headquarters in Nairobi Monday has also asked the party to investigate the incident in which the ballot papers were burnt early Monday at the Jubilee Nakuru county office he says the move is aimed at ensuring that he dose not get justiceKinuthia lost to lee Kinyanjui in the just concluded Jubilee party primaries.
