BY EURIDICE NZIOKA,NAIROBI,22ND APRIL 2017-The jubilee party has released new timetable for its primaries after the exercise was cancelled on Friday 21st April 2017.The party will now start with five counties of Nairobi,Nandi ,Kirinyaga Elgeyo Marakweti and Kericho on Monday 24th April 2017.
According to the party secretary general Raphael Tuju who has addressed the press at the party headquaters in Pangani Nairobi says the new format will held ease the pressure which could be faced incase of higher number of counties.The exercise will continue with the rest of the counties on Tuesday 25TH APRIL 2017 and wednesday 26TH APRIL 2017.
The party has also said the reason why the names of many voters were not in the voters register is because the Independent Electoral and boundaries commission has not compiled the latest list of voters who were registered in the recently voters registration exercise.
The party says the situation has caused the party to result to use the party register of voters.
