The postponement was done in consultation with the party headquarters in Nairobi.
Addressing the media after a closed door meeting with the County Elections Board, aspirants accused the National Elections Board and some mischievous colleagues for messing up the exercise.
The voting exercise was earlier marred by chaos as groups invaded polling stations where nominations had begun.
Police lobbed teargas canisters against a group that had invaded a school in a bid to disrupt the voting.
Marked ballot papers were burnt by angry protesters at Race Track Primary polling station.
Others took the streets in Nakuru town to protest alleged theft of ballot papers and planned rigging.
Street demonstrations were also reported in Molo and Rongai and Nakuru Town West
