BY JOHN WERU,NAIROBI,19TH APRIL 2017-Muranga county governor Mwangi Wa Iria is leading as the most preffered candidate if the gubernatorial elections were to be held today According to a recent poll conducted by Infotrack. The results of the survey released Wednesday puts governor Wairia’s popularity at 58 while his main challenger Jamleck Kamau follows at a distant 20.5 percent.

On the senatorial race the incumbent Kembi Gitura is leading with 35.4 percent while MP Irungu Kangata follows closely with 23.5 percent. However 39.5 percent of residents of the versatile central Kenya county are undecided on whom they will vote for as their senator.
