BY UPESINEWS SPORTS REPORTER,NAIROBI,10TH MARCH 2017-The sports tribunal has stopped the commencement of the 2017 kenya premier league which was scheduled to start on saturday the 11th ,March 2017.
– There has been wrangles between several clubs mainly sofapaka na muhoroni youth who have taken the case in court opposing the decision by KPL to lock them out of the 2017-2018 season due to failure to meet the requirements be be licensed by CAF.
-The league managers KPL had decided to start the season without the two clubs and instead relegated them to the national super league which is the second tier.
