CORD leader Raila Odinga condemns the attack on KDF/FILE PHOTO
BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,27TH JAN,2017– CORD leader Raila Odinga has condemned the KDF camp attack at Kulbiyo Suspected to have been carried out early Friday by Al-Shabaab militants .The camp is located in Lower Jubba, Somalia, some 18 kilometers from the Kenyan border.The KDF base was attacked at 5am on Friday and the number of casualties remains unconfirmed.Raila says such attacks can not be tolerated and expressed his displeasure by the continued reports of kenyans soldiers from somalia due to such incidents.Despite al shabab confirming to have carried out the attack which is claimed to have led to deaths of 57 KDF soldiers,the KDF spokes person Paul Njuguna termed the news as mare allegations adding that KDF had overpowered the militants.
