all is set for Mark Too’s burial in Eldoret Monday
BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 9 – Former Nominated Member of Parliament Mark Too is due to be buried Monday in his Maziwa home in Eldoret in a ceremony to be attended by his family ,relatives and political and government leaders.
This is despite a court order issued in Eldoret on Friday blocking the burial, until a case filed by his one-time lawyer who claims he was killed is heard and determined.
Fatuma Ramadhan Hassan who had sought similar court orders to block the burial withdrew her case on Friday after the family agreed to involve her son in the burial arrangements, with a pledge to support him.
Fatuma unfortunately collapsed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Monday while waiting to board a plane to Eldoret and was rushed to hospital.
Her lawyer told Capital FM News that the incident happened as they took tea at the waiting bay before she was taken to the Guru Nanak Hospital in an ambulance.
He says their attendance at the burial will depend on the advice of doctors.
Fatuma withdrew her case on Friday after talks with the family, but a new order was later issued by a court in Eldoret in a case filed by Too’s lawyer who claims he was killed.
