KTN senior Editor denies stealing a car worth ksh 2.8 million

BY UPESI NEWS REPORTER,NAIROBI,JAN 3RD,2017-A senior editor at Kenya Television Network has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle belonging to his colleague.

Aaron Ochieng was arraigned before Nairobi Chief Magistrate where he is accused of stealing a Mercedes Benz belonging to Joy Doreen Biira.

He has denied the charges and has been released on a cash bail of Sh300,000 or a bond of Sh1million.

Seven people including Biira and three police officers have been lined up as witnesses.

The car which belongs to  Doreen is said to have been stolen from the standard center on Mombasa road  just before Christmas  was traced in kisumu where its registration number  had been changed and even repainted. The hearing of the criminal charges against the journalist will commence on February 13 2017
