BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,NOV 29TH 2016-Tragedy has hit Nyango Mixed Secondary School in Suna East Sub-County, Migori County following death of a form four student on Monday night after allegedly consuming a laboratory chemical.

The deceased, George Oduor, is reported to be among three other students who took the chemical from the laboratory on Friday after sitting their chemistry practical exam. His colleagues are , however, well as they consumed little of the chemical.
Mr Oduor passed away while receiving treatment at Akidiva Hospital where he was rushed for treatment on Friday evening, missing his remaining KCSE examination papers.
Confirming the incident, Suna Nyabisawa Location Chief Mr Benard Aliwa said a teacher at the school reported that some students had attempted to consume a chemical that was being used during the practical exam.
The deceased reportedly fainted on his way home in the company of another student and was rushed to the hospital on Friday evening.
The body of the deceased is preserved at Akidiva Hospital mortuary.
