BY JOHN WERU,NAIROBI,12TH SEPT 2017-Gatundu South member of parliament Moses Kuria and former Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama were on Tuesday afternoon charged with incitement to Violence contrary to section 96(a) of the Penal Code.
Moses Kuria has pleaded NOT GUILTY to incitement of violence and was released on a cash bail of Ksh 300,000 or bond of Ksh 500,000.He was ordered to pay Ksh 1M as a surety that he will handle himself in good conduct pending the trial.
Muthama was also ordered to also pay Ksh 1M as a surety that he will handle himself in good conduct pending the trail.
Chief Magistrate Francis Andanyi has ordered evident materials to be availed in 3 days and set the case to be heard on 23rd January, 2018.
