BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,11TH AUG 2017-The independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has urged kenyans to remain calm as it makes final arrangement to announce presidential votes.
Addressing the press at The Bomas of Kenya Friday afternoon,Chebukati says the commission is yet to receive 17 forms 34Bs across 17 constituencies.The chairman also confirmed that the commission had received 273 form 34Bs.
”Yesterday we promised to get all the forms 34B today. So far we have received 273, waiting for 17”.He added.
Chebukati has also urged kenyan to resume their normal way of life as they await the announcement on presidential results. ”We urge Kenyans to go back to work as we finalize this process next at 2.30pm” .said Chebukati.
